What does my family receive with this special Model Call invite?

As a thank you for helping us update our studio displays in our brand new Durham location, your family receives a complimentary Family Portraiture Experience (up to 6 members) with multi-award winning, renowned portrait artist, Michael Coy.

A 10" Regal Canvas Finished Portrait print. ($1250 value)

And a $200 studio credit if you want any additional portrait art beyond your free 10” regal portrait gift. However, there is never any purchase necessary. And you can be assured we’ll never firstly ask any model call family included in this special project if they want to purchase additional portrait art beyond their free gifts, this is guaranteed in writing for you.

(Optional) And we’re also doing an exciting photo contest fundraiser, which includes a grand prize. Where 1 lucky family will win a 1-night stay, family fun waterpark adventure at Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC or any other available US location! If you choose, your family may also be featured in our upcoming photobook “ Our Blessed Family “. Proceeds from this special photobook will also be donated to the Wake Harvest foundation.

*100% of all fundraiser proceeds go directly to the Wake Harvest foundation which helps provide after-school care for children in need, helping single parents send their children to summer camp, and support through youth mentorship events.

Where?

Portrait sessions take place at our studio-gallery in the beautiful, family-friendly Sutton Station located in Durham, NC conveniently located 1/2 mile north of the I-40.

How long do sessions take?

Portrait sessions are usually only around 45-minutes, and afterwards, you get to select your gifted 10" regal portrait print during your gallery premiere & selection experience on our jumbo screen. Which takes place about 60-minutes after your portrait session.

Also, we’ll have fresh popcorn made for everyone during your gallery premiere. So you’ll have a fun popcorn, movie-like experience that kiddos absolutely LOVE!

And your child/children can enjoy a magical movie on Disney + in our studio if they want to while you select your gifted regal portrait.

*Most families enjoy getting a quick bite to eat at the popular pizza or Mexican restaurants downstairs during the 60-mins while we prepare your gallery. Which is always a great opportunity for a family fun-day and taking a break from the kitchen at home.

Do I have to purchase anything?

Absolutely not, there is no purchase necessary. And if you’re interested in any additional portrait art beyond your 10” regal portrait gift print, you would have to let the studio know. As the studio will never firstly ask any model call family if they want to purchase additional portrait art beyond their free gifts. This is a guarantee from Coy Fine Art Portraits to you and your family and it is also backed in writing on the signed agreement.

Because session dates and times are limited and to avoid no-shows a refundable reservation deposit is needed to secure your requested session date, which will be refunded within 24-hrs after your portraiture experience takes place. You’ll also receive a receipt after you post your RRD when you select the date/time you want. Desired dates cannot be put on hold or reserved without an RRD.

Can I purchase additional portrait art beyond my 10” Regal Portrait gift?

Yes, of course. You'll have the opportunity to purchase portrait art of your family at your gallery premiere & selection experience.

As mentioned above if you're interested in any additional portrait art beyond your 10" regal portrait gift you would have to let us know. As creating an amazingly wonderful experience for every family is a priority at Coy Fine Art Portraits. We never ask anyone if they want to purchase additional portrait art beyond their free gifts.

Terms & Conditions

Semi-formal or formal wardrobe attire is needed to take part in this portraiture experience. We’ll also e-mail you a simple and helpful dress code guide.

If invited model call families don’t claim their prize within 24-hrs of being notified, the session/gifts will be forfeited and passed on to the next applicant on the waiting list. And we only have the availability to attempt to contact invited families twice.

Because session dates and times are limited and to avoid no-shows a refundable reservation deposit is needed to secure your requested session date, which will be refunded within 24-hrs after your portraiture experience takes place. You’ll also receive a receipt after you post your RRD when you select the date/time you want. Desired dates cannot be put on hold or reserved without an RRD.

With the current covid-19 situation, no employees or assistants will be in attendance. It will only be the portrait artist Michael Coy and 1 family in the gallery at a time. Because of this, for Liability Purposes, all heads of households must be in attendance for your family’s portraiture experience to take place.

As the health, well-being and safety of our clients and guests, is a priority. If anyone in your family is experiencing covid-19 like symptoms or has been exposed. *There is no obligation or any pressure whatsoever to be part of this special photo contest fundraiser, but it’s super fun and easy which most families will most likely love to be part of, for a great cause, and includes a grand prize of a 1-night stay, family fun getaway at Great Wolf Lodge in Orange County or any other available US location!
